CSJCE - Energy Ecohome Payment Plan Loan Application (Battery Storage)

EcoHome Payment Plan Application

San José Clean Energy’s EcoHome Payment Plan helps eligible residents pay for clean energy upgrades. Customers can get up to $5,000 with no fees, no interest, and no credit check to install a heat pump water heater, heat pump HVAC system, or battery storage. Payment terms can be for up to 5 years and will appear as a line item on your monthly PG&E bill.

This application will ask you to upload your contractor's final bid/quote. You must select the Payment Plan program-approved contractor you will be working with before submitting this application. Your Payment Plan application must be submitted and approved before the installation of your upgrade(s) begins.

If applying for battery storage, the system must be paired with existing or new solar. Only customer owned battery systems are eligible to receive financing through the EcoHome Payment Plan Program.

Our team will review your application and get back to you within 5 business days. Our emails will come from askprograms@sanjoseca.gov. If you haven't heard from us in this timeframe, please check your spam mailbox.

Do you expect to put a down payment of your own (thereby not financing the entire cost of the upgrades)?
Customer down payments are optional. However, if your project cost exceeds $5,000 after rebates are factored in, then check the box below and input the remaining balance in the following question that will pop up. For example, if your project costs $20,000 and you expect to receive $4,000 in rebates and a $5,000 payment plan, then put $11,000 below.
