EcoHome Payment Plan Application

San José Clean Energy’s EcoHome Payment Plan helps eligible residents pay for clean energy upgrades. Customers can get up to $5,000 with no fees, no interest, and no credit check to install a heat pump water heater, heat pump HVAC system, or battery storage. Payment terms can be for up to 5 years and will appear as a line item on your monthly PG&E bill.

This application will ask you to upload your contractor's final bid/quote. You must select the Payment Plan program-approved contractor you will be working with before submitting this application. Your Payment Plan application must be submitted and approved before the installation of your upgrade(s) begins.

If applying for battery storage, the system must be paired with existing or new solar. Only customer owned battery systems are eligible to receive financing through the EcoHome Payment Plan Program.

If applying for heat pump spacing heating and cooling (HP-HVAC), please attach one photo of the existing furnace for each gas furnace you are looking to replace. Photo(s) are required for payment plan approval.

If applying for heat pump water heating (HPWH), please attach one photo the existing water heater for each gas heater you are looking to replace. Photo(s) are required for payment plan approval.

If applying for an Electrical Service Panel Upgrade, please attach one photo of your existing electrical panel that clearly shows its below 200amps. Photo(s) are required for payment plan approval.

If applying for an Attic Insulation, please attach one photo of your existing insulation showing current depth. Photo(s) are required for payment plan approval.

If applying for battery storage, please attach one photo of your existing solar or bid for the proposed new solar. Photo(s) are required for rebate approval.

How much in San José Clean Energy rebates do you expect to receive? Rebates reduce the cost of your project and are therefore factored into the payment plan amount you are approved for.
