San José Clean Energy Net Energy Metering Program - Request Form

San José Clean Energy recently updated its net energy metering (NEM) term and conditions to provide you more options when it comes to your true-up for electric generation. These changes include: • NEM customers with less than 10 months of service may request an early true-up to avoid more than 12 months of true-up charges.
• Net generators whose net surplus compensation is less than $100 will automatically receive a bill credit.
• Net generators whose net surplus compensation is more than $100 will receive a check in the mail.
• If you close your account with SJCE, you can request any final checks be sent to a different address than the one SJCE has on file.
